CFU ÈLIFE is a safe and non-invasive method for treating skin ageing and reshaping the body profile.
CAN IT REPLACE A FACELIFT?
CFU ÈLIFE works on the deepest layers of the skin but cannot replace the results of a facelift.
However, it is a viable alternative, especially for those who are not ready for surgery or for patients seeking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.
HOW DOES CFU ÈLIFE AFFECT THE BODY?
CFU ÈLIFE uses focused ultrasound technology that concentrates its action deep into the tissue to reshape body contours. It is a non-surgical treatment with no recovery time. It can be used on multiple areas of the body including the abdomen, buttocks, knees, arms and legs.
During the procedure, the fat cells are damaged and their contents dispersed through the vascular system and lymphatic drainage.
WHAT CAUSES THE AUTOLOGOUS COLLAGEN PRODUCTION PROCESS?
The transducer/cartridge used, focuses the ultrasound energy deep into the skin at a sufficient temperature for the process of collagen regeneration to begin; a natural process known as neocollagenesis. CFU ÈLIFE does not require the use of substances, creams, fillers or other infiltration products.
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT LAST?
The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the area to be treated and the characteristics of the patient, and can last from 20 to 60 minutes.
DOES THE TREATMENT REQUIRE RECOVERY TIME?
CFU ÈLIFE does not require recovery time. Immediately after the procedure, normal activities can be resumed without any special precautions.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL DURING THE TREATMENT?
Tolerance levels for the treatment vary from person to person, but a very slight pain sensation, similar to a puncture, is only felt when the ultrasound focuses its beam on the coagulation point.
WHAT HAPPENS TO FAT CELLS AFTER TREATMENT WITH CFU ÈLIFE?
The affected fat cells initiate an inflammatory reaction that triggers a healing process.
Cells called macrophages remove damaged fat cells and cell debris.
The macrophages transport the fat through the lymphatic and venous system to the liver.
This process takes about 2-4 weeks.
The liver treats the fat removed by the macrophages just like fat from food by metabolising it normally.
